The Quilt & Textile Museum and its parent organization, the Heritage Center of Lancaster County, are dedicated to the concept of lifelong learning, recognizing that people of all ages benefit from museums and their collections.

Fundamentally, museums are educational institutions. The Quilt
& Textile Museum endeavors to provide meaningful learning opportunities
and experiences for the entire community:
Curriculum support and professional development opportunities for Teachers. |
A variety of Students programs that are relevant to curriculum at many grade levels and meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education Standards. |
Programs for Adults and Families that provide interesting content about local history and decorative arts, as well as opportunities for participants to try their hand at creating a traditional craft. |
Special opportunities just for Quilters.
