Education - Teachers

At the Quilt & Textile Museum, we strive to create educational programs that are meaningful, age appropriate, helpful to teachers, and relevant to curriculum using our Education Advisory Committee and incorporating the PA Department of Education Standards.

Our student programs are relevant to curriculum at many grade levels and include programs at the museum or at your school.

Through numerous professional development opportunities, the museum also provides local history education to teachers. Teachers who participate in these workshops will come away with a greater awareness of how studying local history enables the achievement of a breadth of curricular objectives.
