"Family and Friends: Quiilts and Their Connections"

This exhibit will feature southeastern Pennsylvania quilts and related objects from the Museum's collections, including some recently acquired family quilts that have never been on public view. In addition, an outstanding collection of 19th through mid-20th century quilts and supportive materials from local private collections will be included. As the exhibition title so aptly states, these textile will illustrate the lives of their creators and their relationship with family and fellow quiltmakers.

"Family and Friends" will run from March 22, 2010 through December 31, 2010

* The exhibit will briefly close on August 2 and reopen on August 9 for the installation of a second rotation of quilts.
